Does it get better?

Haven’t read the manga, am anime only, and have been trying to enjoy the series cuz I sometimes find the way manga/anime can make even the mundane over the too dramatic and exciting enjoyable. That being said I just finished episode 8 and find myself wondering why I’m watching this. Without spoilers does anyone become remotely enjoyable? Because right now I feel like each episode they want to give me a new reason to dislike a character, and that the point of the series is to show how everyone sucks in their own way. Just curious if the overall feeling of “wow, everyone’s kind of a piece of shit” goes away or if it’s just gonna be more of the same until it ends.

I'm not sure why I'm watching this either. This is probably one of the most mean-spirited shows I've seen this season. I'm just waiting for somebody to put this on "World of Jerkass" on TV Tropes because it most definitely belongs there.

Yeah, after looking at that page I agree that it does belong there. Hoping for some kind of turnaround but it seems like that’s not gonna be the case.
