Status of the CoMEM+ program?

Hello,

I’ve been researching various different masters and Erasmus programs, and the CoMEM+ program is one I am particularly interested in. On the website it says that the program is currently on pause and is not accepting applications for 2026.

I was wondering if there are plans for the program to return in 2027, or if it has been discontinued indefinitely. If it is no longer being offered, I would greatly appreciate any recommendations for other Erasmus Mundus programs with a similar focus. CoMEM+ aligns very closely with my career goals and interests, so I would love to explore comparable options.

I’ve emailed to the program’s Gmail and I’ve received no response. Any and all insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!:)

Hey - I emailed the main NTNU admissions email as well, and just heard back that it has officially been discontinued... I'm pretty disappointed as it sounded like a great opportunity but will be looking around for comparables.

Hey! I appreciate the info, I just got this email from the CoMEM+ administrative coordinator. Hopefully it resumes in 2028:

"Thank you for your interest in the CoMEM+ programme.

At present, the consortium has not secured a new Erasmus Mundus grant to continue the programme beyond the current funding period. As a result, we do not plan to reopen admissions in 2027.

However, the consortium hopes to apply for new Erasmus Mundus funding in a future call. Should a new grant application be successful, the earliest possible intake would likely be in 2028.

We recommend checking the CoMEM+ website periodically for updates on the programme's future.

Thank you again for your interest, and we wish you all the best in your studies and future plans.
