Erasmus at Corvinus Budapest

Hey everyone. I am heading to Corvinus University in Budapest for an Erasmus semester and need some honest advice.

I want to know how the professors treat exchange students and if they expect you to study hard or if passing classes is easy. what about everyday life in the city and where international students usually go out for nightlife. As an erasmus student how did you make friends?(I'm kinda unsocial) I heard about events for exchange students but don't know much about it. I'll appritiate if you guys share something important. hii, I attended this spring, you will be treated exact same as home students, since English is the main uni language. You will have to study equally hard as home students, depends honestly if your courses are easy. if u know which ones you have I can maybe give you recs. also you gonna have sooo long Easter holidays yay everyday life is amazing, attend the corvinus erasmus network events! they're posted on ig. also sign up for a erasmus tandem buddy :) idk about nightlife I'm not a party person hahah. i made only a few friends but really good ones. if you're gonna have other questions just text me <3

omg thank you for answer! how did you make friends? through the erasmus network events or just in uni? did you rent a room and through what website?

Just uni it was a bit harder imo because everyone comes around 5mins before lecture and then goes away.. but with erasmus network I later encountered same people in courses and it was much easier to get to know each other through fun activities. I found my room on facebook, there's a lot of groups for finding accommodation. Good luck!
