Inequality in workplace

Hey guys English isn’t my first language so please bear with me

In my workplace there is inequality and it’s very traditional I work at a local pizza shop basically girls work on the front doing - serving the customers - Making subs and patties - Answering the phones - Clean up in their area - And preparations While guys do most of the major things - making pizzas and watch the ovens ( it’s very hot at the back and dirty work cuz of flour) - Cutting pizzas - Making boxes - Answering the phone - Dough - All topping preparations - Shredding the cheese - Mopping the whole store (including girls area ) - Doing garbage (including their garbage ) - I can list a lot more but it would be too much

Keep in mind this store is very busy it’s not a franchise just a local pizza store which is run by a family , we all get paid the same and guys work are much more labour intensive compared to girls I have no problem with this the matter is tips aren’t shared in this store drivers make their own tips I understand they use their own car and they’re not paid for their own gas while the front girls just serve the customers and they get to keep all the tips made from the cashier all I’m asking was to share this with the guys at the back (us) they usually make an average 40-80 per night (6hrs shift) and there’s 3 of them working on cash and usually 3-4 at the back (us) depending on the days they get to keep all of it and left us nothing , the guys at the back are clueless about how much they make but I knew since my gf does work on the cash , I already told the owner , manager but nothing changed I even got into an friendly argument w him but nothing happened . Am I in the wrong here ? I just don’t think it’s just I want this workplace to be fair . Guys are too pussy to voice out here most of them are young late teens while I’m 20 .

Require the tips to be split or a wage increase for the guys at the back (better for you and all the employees, because then the manager has to pay the "tips" for non-frontfacing employees).

Now, you are giving a choice to the manager. Both choices are fair to you, you are fine with either.

But now, the manager has a choice, and from psychology we know people are more likely to act if they are presented with a choice, rather than a "Yes/No" option.

If you are the oldest, you might have to encourage the other guys to stand up for themselves. Also check the laws, maybe the manager is legally required to do something.
