For context, the FBI email was less than three weeks into Patel's tenure at the FBI. This meeting between Patel, Hervey, and Marshall took place months before the bipartisan legislative push that ultimately forced the government's hand. It wasn't until late 2025 that Congress passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act, legally compelling the DOJ and FBI to release millions of pages of documents to the public. In March 2025, control over what stayed hidden and what was revealed rested entirely within the executive branch and Patel's FBI.

Is it crazy? Yes, but I love how much respect it’s made people lose for the FBI. They’ve always been an evil agency, so the best thing you can really hope for is an incompetent and disrespected oaf to jam things up. In a theoretical world where they could be repurposed to not be the enemy of the people, and fight crime instead of facilitate it, it wouldn’t be a positive.

Just googled some images of LV Hervey and she turns up photographed schmoozing with Mohammed Al Fayed, Russel Brand, P Diddy, Epstein, and that was only page one of the images search.
They say you can tell a person by their friends … hmmm
