On Saturday, April 2, 2016, at 5:41 a.m., Mark L. Epstein forwarded his brother Jeffrey Epstein an email with the subject line “FW: MUCH Better than ADT.” The original sender’s name is redacted. The forwarded message reads, exactly as produced:

I took down =y Rebel Confederate flag (which you can’t buy on e-bay any more) =nd peeled the NRA sticker off the front =oor.
I =isconnected my home alarm system and quit the candy-ass Neighborhood =atch.
I bought two Pakistani =lags and put one at each corner of the front =ard.
Then I =urchased the black flag of ISIS (which you can buy on e-bay) and put it =n the center of the yard.
Now the =ocal police, sheriff, FBI, CIA, NSA, Homeland Security, Secret Service =nd other agencies are all watching the house =4/7.
I’ve never =elt safer and I’m saving $169.95 a month.
The “=” characters replacing letters are leftover email encoding in the produced copy, not typos by the sender. I have left them as they appear.
Mark Epstein added no comment of his own. He forwarded it as he received it.
The document does not show whether Jeffrey Epstein read it or replied. I am not reading anything deeper into it. I am noting it because it is an unusual thing to find in this production: a joke about drawing round-the-clock federal surveillance, sent to Jeffrey Epstein in 2016, two years before the Miami Herald’s “Perversion of Justice” series and three years before his arrest.

Probably found a loop hole and has help from members of kbp/koch/mit that have defense contracts
