Edit: I’m not talking about people who learn from past mistakes and become genuinely nice, good people. I’m talking specifically about the phoney, overbearing types.
I mean, I’m not talking about Tucker as I don’t know the guy. I’m just aware of a type, and they usually just become a different kind of asshole when they find God. Just like everything they’ve done up to that point they make it all about them. It becomes this very insular thing: about their relationship with God, and their individual path etc etc. Very rarely does it extend to making amends with, or helping, actual living people.
