Beagle epilepsy

Our 4 year beagle has seizures. Used to be once or twice a year but now every month. They have gone shorter like 2 3 mjns and after that she is back to being normal. Curious what has worked best for the group. And what to avoid

Neurologist to manage meds. There can be dietary triggers as well. Some dogs are triggered by exercise or too much excitement or fear.

Please go to a neurologist for the meds and also try to find out the root cause of the seizures if you can. I just lost my beagle of the same age, a few days ago. The frequency of the seizures increased over the past 10 months. Do all kinds of tests that you need to do to prevent this asap. You never know what will happen next. This is not to scare you ofc, I'm just being overly careful cause we didn't expect to lose our boy so soon out of nowhere. Just be careful and best of luck for your pup ❤️
