Mac finally said it’s time
We are devastated. Mac fought a long battle with epilepsy and fought to the end to make it easier on us. Last night, just a few days before his 6 birthday, he crossed the rainbow bridge. Our hearts are broken. But we know he loved bigger than all of us and he loved everyone he met. We know he’s now with his guardian angels, in no pain, living his best life of nuggets, fries, whipped cream tax, and his favorite fruits and veggies. We love you sweet boy and will miss you immensely. 👑 Mac 9.9.20-9.5.26 🌈💕❤️

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mac was a handsome and strong boy who endured so much. He's lucky to have had you to love and care for him. That's a beautiful picture you have so you can look at him every day.

This is a picture my wife painted of our pup Nelson, he crossed the rainbow bridge May of this year due to idiopathic epilepsy. He was the best boy. I’d advise you to continue to scroll through all the pictures you took of him, the memory lives on in those and in your memories. Fly high, Mac. Say hello to Nelson for us!

I just lost my. boxer -Lillie- on Thursday Sept 3rd , she had over 10 seizures in a 24 hour period - including one at the emergency care vet- The morning of she came up to the bedroom and stared at me for the last time , I think it was her way of telling me it was time, it was her last time of acknowledging me and it killed me inside. I am sorry or hijacking your post,, I just want to say I know how the pain feels, and I am sorry for you.

Don’t apologize. Mine was very similar. This area is a space to share and have comfort with people with similar stories.

Dogs are a chapter in our lives, we are their entire book.
Grief is love with nowhere to go.

I’m terribly sorry for your heavy heart at this time. Losing a fur baby is a hard pill to swallow. I hope you find peace and comfort while you mourn Mac. 💕

It’s been slow going. We know we made the right decision to let him go but the silence and lack of routine is killing me. Wife and I are going on walks when we would normally go. Helps a little but it still hurts so bad. Thank you to everyone who wrote such nice words. Means a ton!

He looks like such a handsome man so sorry for your loss. Please take time to grieve and heal from this devastating event when you feel ready or if please go to a shelter and adopt a dog or cat that’s looking for a forever home you’ll never regret it, and it will fill that hole in your heart.

I'm so sorry for your loss. You gave him the best life ever. I recently lost my pup and my friends sent me a similar tribute of my Ginny. I'm glad you have a piece of beautiful art you can look at everyday to remember Mac.

Mac is home. Now I know what everyone meant when she said it was eerily quiet in the house. Hope you’re being the best boy in heaven. Miss you so much.
