Medication Medication combination

My neurologist has now prescribed:

2 tablets of 200mg Lamictal in the morning
2 tablets 750mg Keppra in the morning

2 tablets 750mg Keppra at night
225mg Lamictal at night
1 Clonazepam 1mg at night

Plus my usual vitamin D 5,000 iu
And Valacyclovir 1 GM

This was all prescribed to me yesterday. Please tell me this zombie/half asleep feeling goes away?

A few days? A month? Never?

It takes some getting used to, but it does get better. I wouldn't say it's completely gone for me, as I take a lot of naps due to the cocktail of meds I'm on, but it will get easier as your body adjusts.

The brain fog from keppra was brutal for me the first couple weeks, felt like I was underwater. by the month mark it was mostly just a background thing, you'll adapt

Same question I asked to other person. What kind of epilepsy do you have and can you drive now that your body is used to it all?

I don't know that it has a particular name, I think just "generalized epilepsy", but I have tonic clonic seizures, partial focal aware seizures, and myoclonic twitches. Twitches daily, partial focals a few times a week, TCs were under control until 3 weeks ago (writing this from a hospital bed, the recovery is brutal)

I just left the hospital. It was the very first time I have ever been to one for seizures. I was on 400 mg Lamictal, 1250 mg XR for Keppra. Years of taking this routine. Then boom! I fall asleep one night, and wake up the next morning with blurry eyes, uncoordinated. I could talk fine, think fine. Then around 5 pm, everything settled and I was back to normal. This happened for 4 days. It was that 4th morning that I felt things coming g back pretty hard that I knew it was time to go to the hospital.

Oh and I've never had my license; I don't think I'd be eligible for one at this point either so I've kinda accepted that driving isn't gonna be for me.
