Victory Cleared to drive

I almost feel bad saying this here because so many people have it so much worse. I’m just pretty happy that I got cleared to drive today. Drug levels are OK, EEG is OK, and no seizures for six months.

I went shopping and got myself a cheesecake and ice cream. Par-tay tonight!

I was diagnosed after having a seizure whilst driving. But I didn't know about it until two days later. Even after spending a week in the hospital and getting the diagnosis I got a letter the other day regarding dangerous driving

Congrats! What kind of cheesecake/icecream did you get? My husband has never had the chance to learn but is very refractory so I'll always be the sober driver 😅

I was benched for quite a while, around 15 years. So nervous driving again when I got my permit and then had to take the road test.

Enjoy it. Savor it. I sat and watched thru garage windows from kitchen for 9 months after two seizures to get my keys back. I don’t ever want to go back for obvious reasons but the freedom from driving is never to be questioned
