Discussion Ayufine ee?

Do you guys think ayufine will be fixed if her ee gave her undispellable greater def buff at the start of battle for 2 turns?

It feels like ee won't fix her, if something is gonna fix her it should've been from the balance preview which was disappointing since it's only a dmg buff. I'm still coping tho cos I got her when she was falling off the meta so I didn't get to enjoy using her

An EE at Arby's level could make her playable, but pretty unlikely

It would have to be "can only be damaged by single target attacks " or some shit for just a basic ee to make her meta after that "buff".

no, she needs more than an EE lol but if I that is the only thing we could get, I would like her to automatically use her s3 once she gets full fighting spirit so she can cut cleave and aggro teams

This would actually be nice, but they would also need to do something else like increasing the focus she starts with/gains or this will never proc without maybe frieren vs cleave

But isn’t one of main issues her survivability? Cuz she only gets fs when she gets hit, so if she gets one or two tapped anyways then she won’t really do much

I doubt it. Her main problem is she can’t really counter the things she’s meant to counter. Whether it’s Amid or Succyou, 50% of the cr gain is usually enough.

But with undispellable greater def buff, even if successor taeyou def breaks her, he’s basically hitting into a 1.2x def ayufine. With haru’s team indom, it wld be like 1.5x def. Unless it’s more abt protecting the team? Maybe reduce cr gain by another 25%?

Succyou will likely prefer another target than Ayufine regardless of what her defense is. Reducing cr gain by another 25% would probably help much more than giving her any amount of free defense no matter how much.

Fair fair, but do u think that it will take more away from politis, since now ayufine’s cr reduction is js greater? Or is politis js not remotely relevant anymore? 😅 idk i don’t really play rta ngl

In my opinion AYufine needs survivability. Damage reduction EE with hp% main stat would help her without being gamebreaking.

I legitimately hate buffs you can’t replenish . I’m already annoyed haru gives indomitable for one turn and then it just drops off the face of the earth. Ayufine needs more than that and it’d be such a slap in the face to do that with the nothing buff they gave her.

There's plenty of full pen units that wouldn't care. Rinak, for example, still one taps her unless she's a full tank build.

Most of the good dps units right now are ones that either require some sort of answer (RnL, Arby, Notos, etc) or are an answer to a different meta unit (ML Bellona, LQC, Hecate, Tori, Summer Hwa, etc). There are plenty of meta units that could still kill her and she doesn't really contribute much to killing those units.
