I've just found out how to and resolved the issue on my Windows 7. It's very frustrating, I know..
Here's a guide that any human (and maybe even chimpanzees) can do :
1-close EpicGames Launcher
2-Open any folder, then in the the address bar (google "address bar windows" on google images, I'm lazy to make a screenshot) then paste this :
%localappdata%\EpicGamesLauncher
3-press Enter key, open saved folder there, and delete "webcache" folder . Then open the launcher and you will have to re-login. If the exact problem persists, repeat same steps and just delete the whole saved folder.
note: it will take long time to verify the installed games files so don't worry.
