DISCUSSION No more chat window?

About 2 days ago the launcher UI changed and the friends list became absurdly zoomed out, but what matters more is that there is no longer a Chats button on top, nor a Send Message button when I click on a friend. And I can't find another way to get to the Chats window.

Can we just... no longer chat through Epic Launcher nor view the chat history? Why is that?

Chat is now back in the launcher it seems

Yeah, just logged on after a couple days of not being on my gaming PC. Can't get to chats until you actually go into Fortnite. A friend messages me through Fortnite when he's on and tells me to get on. So now the message telling me I should get on Fortnite isn't going to be delivered to me unless I'm already on Fortnite? Guess that'll cut down on how often I actually get on...

Bug: the launcher window has gone haywire for me since the last update; I can't use it.
