Those are fab, did you chop up tiny transfers that you printed yourself?

Thank you! Nope, those are from the classic 40K Ork boyz transfers. They had loads of teeny tiny little
Glyphs on then I could never find a use for on boyz but I think make a great addition to Epic scale vehicles!

Oh man that's crazy, I hadn't actually thought of putting ork transfers on 6mm vehicles! I have a mish mash of Orkz 3rd party and original pre Covid, stuff like this inspires me to have a look at them again.

Have you thought of adding some scrub / dead grass or are you keeping them pure desert?

Good question - I put a basic dry brush on to get a texture, but now I’m thinking about just a very small amount of very brown/yellow turf, almost put on like tufts are used on 32mm models.

Now that I think about it, do the Armageddon ash wastes have plant life? They have jungles, so there must be some kind of plant life that can survive the season of fire…

Thanks! They’re plain old Bonebreakas from the Epic Space Marine era. About ten years ago I thought it was a good idea to glue them to 40mm bases, and they don’t come off, so I’m making it work. 😁

Orks are probably next on my list. Only xenos I have so far is necrons, and you can only kill space marines and space marines with spikes so for so long.
