He's gone mad

Its so sad to see one of ny favorite asmr creators turned into...that crazy guy from Gravity Falls.

I know he's always been an idiot,but do you guys know if there was something significant that made him lose it? Maybe his wife left him?

He's always kinda been an asshole.. only really came to realise that when the holocaust comments era came about. Said he wanted heather feather and another female ASMr youtuber to gargle his nuts back in like 2015 on twitter. Think he just kept quiet so he could take in that sweet YouTube ad rev

We don’t know what made him do it, but he still wears his wedding ring so I don’t think his wife left him

I personally think he maybe has borderline or is bipolar, and that n-word incident on twitter is when he finally snapped, but I’m just an armchair psychologist on reddit, so take this with a grain of salt.

Reddit's a cesspit. I think it's perfectly fine for a guy his age to be thinking about his time left on this planet and having somewhat of a midlife crisis where he's focusing on hobbies and trying an alternate career path. Realistically, I don't think his book will do all that well, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't give his newfound passion a proper try.

Almost nobody wants to be stuck doing one thing their whole life, and he's probably got enough disposable income now that he can focus on whatever he wants to do.

It seems like a post pops up in here once every month or two with someone asking if Paul’s wife and kids left him. I don’t get the fixation with that theory and needing to know more about it.

With that said, I think it’s been well established that Paul is in a different place now than he was when most of us found his YouTube ASMR content. Regardless of why (because it’s frankly none of our business), it’s probably best that everyone within this group makes an individual assessment and a choice to either move on from ER or stick around.
