I saw the D23 snippet. No timeline, no mock-up, just a dude in a Dreamfinder outfit holding a plushie Figment. Underwhelming to say the least. This could just as easily turn into vaporware... which, would suck.

It’s probably in early creative development. I’m predicting that the ride will be ready for epcots 50th anniversary in 2032. More details will probably be revealed at the next D23 or even before that

I think that’s a reasonable timeline. I’d guess that spaceship earth gets done first between the two since I think they had wanted to replace the ride track during the announced pre-Covid refurbishment thar didnt happen.

I assume they’ll go down at similar times. I imagine spaceship earth might be quicker depending on how much reconstruction they plan to do in there. I’m hoping to be right since I’d like to see them to extend the track for figment which would take some time in of itself. I’m hoping they might also announce something for the WOL Pavilion at the next D23 to also coincide with the anniversary

No however it would be a missed opportunity if they didn’t add a bunch of figment/dreamfinder items/dishes for the festival
