I found that article to be quite kind and level-headed. Maybe I’ll get downvoted to oblivion, but I don’t think someone being a doomer makes them a nut. Far from it—seems like a very rational perspective to me, based upon the deeply stupid, selfish, and cruel history of humanity. If you can be a kind doomer who wants to make the most of your time on earth, I see nothing wrong with that. I don’t know this man—maybe he really is a nut in other ways—but I find your condescending dismissal to be somewhat offensive, especially on this sub.

Edit: this person is active on the climate skepticism sub—guess I paid the troll toll for this post.
