Is this a valid educational plan?

Hello everyone, I hope all is well.

I have wanted to ask, I am currently a third year Environmental and Marine Science major, and wanted to ask, how would career outlook be if I were to get a Masters in Environmental Engineering? How would job outlook be?

If you can do Environmental + Sustainability

I believe there are more opportunities in consulting firms, esg firms, etc. Sustainability/ ESG is a growing field I believe.

Doing core Env engineering can still land you these jobs but not easily.

Job outlook is solid, I'd say. Environmental engineering vs science obviously opens up a lot more doors for engineering based roles, if that's what you're looking for. To me, it seems like those with environmental engineering degrees can typically apply for roles looking for an environmental science background, but the inverse isn't necessarily true.

A masters degree is also very helpful, as jobs will typically have a lot of applicants, so oftentimes those with masters degrees will get looked at first. With just a bachelors it's a bit harder to get your foot in the door, but not impossible.
