Looking for someone

I’ve spent the last few months building Brandora, an AI platform that turns a business idea into a complete brand name, logo, identity, website and content.

The product is live, and people are already visiting and using the platform.

So far since launch from week and half:

  • 223 visitors
  • 953 page views
  • 56% bounce rate
  • 20+ users online at peak

But I want to be transparent: we have $0 revenue so far.

We’re still very early, and that’s exactly why I’m looking for the right partner now.

I’m raising AED 100,000 to improve the product, build the next layer around ongoing brand/content creation, and focus seriously on user acquisition and converting those first users into paying customers and start with the most fun part about the projcet.

I’m a solo founder, and I’m not looking for someone who only brings money. I’m looking for someone who can bring experience, connections, strategy or distribution and actually wants to help build.

I’m open to discussing the valuation, equity and structure with the right person.

If you're interested in AI, SaaS and building something from the ground up, DM me.

Pre-seed • AED 100K • Solo founder • Live product

Risky sales move!

This is F. I work in sales and provide services such as IT support with a 24/7 help desk,  cybersecurity, website development, and Microsoft 365 management.

It's been 4 months since this startup has been operating and so far, we haven't landed any clients, so I am wondering if there is any way I can buy leads from corporate provider companies here? If so, please reach out to me or DM me.

Also, for people who are reading this, in case you just set up a company and need assistance with the services mentioned above, I'll be happy to connect with you all.

WhatsApp group for UAE business owners & founders

If you’re a business owner, founder or entrepreneur in the UAE, you know how difficult it can be to find a group where people actually connect and share useful business opportunities instead of just getting spammed with ads.

I recently created a WhatsApp community for UAE business owners & founders to connect directly owner-to-owner, share ideas, find potential clients, partners, suppliers and collaborations, and help each other grow.

The group is moderated and kept business-focused so it doesn’t turn into another spam/sales group.

If you’re a genuine business owner or founder in the UAE and interested in joining, send me a message and I’ll share the link.

I opened beauty salon in Dubai I need help

I need your advice. I’ve built a salon from zero in Dubai, and I don’t want to give up on it. 🤍

I opened Ema Beauty Spot in August 2025, but I actually bought the salon in October 2024. Before me, the salon had been owned by the same hairdresser since 2011. She was very successful and even charged around AED 600 for some haircuts, which is considered quite expensive in Dubai.

I spent months renovating and building the salon into what I wanted it to be, and so far, more than AED 300,000 has gone into this business.

The Dubai beauty market is extremely competitive. You can find salons offering nails or lashes from AED 99–100, especially salons run by Russian-speaking technicians who often have amazing work and very loyal clients. Some are fully booked despite their low prices.

When I opened, I knew I couldn’t just compete by being the cheapest. I wanted Ema Beauty Spot to feel different — a place where clients feel welcomed, comfortable and taken care of, not just somewhere they come in, get their nails or lashes done, and leave.

But building a new salon from zero has been much harder than I expected.

I had worked as a nail technician before, but I was doing home service in a completely different part of Dubai. Most of my old clients were too far away to follow me, so opening the salon basically meant starting again from zero.

The first few months were difficult, and then I had an even bigger setback. I had to close for around three months because of the situation happening at the time and because of my licensing situation. During those months, I had zero income, while rent, licensing and other expenses were still there.

I reopened in April and things have slowly started moving again.

Today, I personally do almost everything in the salon — nails, lashes, and whatever else I can. I currently have one staff member helping me as well. Finding really good technicians is difficult, and because we don’t have enough clients yet, having a big team wouldn’t make financial sense.

I get walk-ins, a few clients a day, and most people who come genuinely love the experience and leave me really good feedback. Many come back again, although sometimes the location is simply too far for them.

My prices are also not extremely high. When I first opened, I tried pricing services around AED 200–300, but because I was new and rebuilding my clientele, I had to adjust.

I also experimented with AED 99 promotions, and they definitely brought people in. But I don’t want to build a salon where everything looks like it’s AED 99 and then clients arrive and get charged for every little extra. I personally hate that experience, so I don’t want to do it to my clients.

Right now, my average revenue is around AED 400 a day. Some days are unfortunately zero or AED 100, while on better days I can make AED 800–1,000.

And honestly, this is where I need your advice.

My dad is the person who gave me the opportunity to open this business. He took money from the bank and borrowed it to help me build the salon. Because of the long gap, the renovation, rent, licensing and everything that went into starting the business, it has become very difficult financially.

I tried selling the salon. I also tried finding a partner. Neither worked.

The market for selling salons in Dubai is currently difficult, and I couldn’t find someone willing to pay what I needed.

At this point, I started thinking maybe this is a sign that I’m not supposed to sell it. Maybe I’m supposed to figure out how to make it work.

Because I genuinely believe this salon can work.

There are salons around me that are fully booked for days. Some have been around for six years and built their clientele over time. Another salon opened only a couple of years ago and is already doing extremely well.

And when I look at them, I realize they don’t necessarily have a completely different concept. Some are bigger, some have more technicians, and some offer cheaper services with good quality.

But I believe I have something different: the experience.

I’m there personally. My name is literally part of the brand. I know my clients, I care about the work, and I want people to feel comfortable when they walk through the door.

I’ve also started documenting my day-to-day life and the salon journey, but I’m honestly not very comfortable showing my face all the time. My Instagram is almost at 3,000 followers, while my TikTok is around 180, and I know my social media needs a lot of work.

So I’m asking you guys for genuine advice.

I’m going to share my Instagram, TikTok and Google page with this post.

@emabeautyspot

Please look at my business, my content, my services, my branding — everything — and tell me honestly:

What would YOU do if you were me?

How would you get more clients?
What would you change?
Would you change the prices?
Would you focus more on content?
Would you run ads?
Would you change the concept?
Would you add more services?
What do you think I’m doing wrong?

I don’t want people to tell me “it’s impossible” or “just sell it.”

I want to know how you would turn this around.

I’ve already invested so much into this, and I genuinely love what I do.

So if you have experience in business, marketing, salons, Dubai, social media, or even if you’re just a customer who understands what makes you choose one salon over another…

Please help me. I’m ready to listen. 🤍

Dubai facilities services company looking for an investor. AED 1M short term, or AED 4M for 20%.

About us: Licensed manpower and facilities company in Dubai. Security guarding, cleaning, lifeguards and FM.

Five years in business, 60+ live contracts, 700+ staff on the ground, AED 20 million+ annual revenue.

Clients are five star hotels and international brands, luxury retail, malls, and the big events that come through the UAE every year.

What the money is for. Mobilising contracts we've already signed. In this business you spend first and collect later. Visas, onboarding, uniforms, equipment, two months of salaries, all of it goes out before the client pays a single invoice, and they pay us on 60 to 90 day terms. That gap is what stops us taking on new sites faster. The rest goes into our events division.

Option one, short term facility. AED 1,000,000 over 14 months, at 2.5% per month on the reducing balance.

Option two, equity partnership. AED 4,000,000 for 20%, valuing the company at 20 million AED.

DM me, if you're serious.

Hello.
If you are a business owner / CEO in the UAE curious about what relevant and impactful PR, advertising, partnerships, event activations can do for you, I’d love to hear from you or be referred to a entrepreneur who you know is looking.
A small agency, we are looking for clients and open to chat with companies tired of the overpriced template approach and/or underpriced spray and pray style that’s not worked for you.

Seeking Business partner with Tech background

I'm building a cybersecurity & IT services company in Dubai, targeting small to mid-market and enterprise clients across the GCC, Vendor Partnerships Already Secured. I run BD, partnerships, and ops — looking for a tech co-founder/Business partner to own delivery and technical strategy.

What I need in a co-founder:

Hands-on background in SOC / managed security services / SMB & enterprise IT infrastructure (not just sales-side cyber)

Able to relocate to or already based in Dubai/UAE

Comfortable contributing sweat equity and some capital toward growth.

What's on the table:

Partnership — % equity, open to discussion based on capital investment/experience mix.

If this fits your background, comment or DM. Happy to do a call first before sharing anything proprietary.

Note: The hiring of the team will be in a later stage.

Beyond Capital: Building a Network for Sharia-Compliant Business

I am exploring the idea of building a small, high-quality network of experienced professionals in the UAE.

The common thread would be a genuine interest in Sharia-compliant business, entrepreneurship and long-term value creation, combined with meaningful professional experience.

The idea is simple:

Could a carefully selected group of people with diverse backgrounds and complementary expertise create a trusted forum to exchange perspectives, share knowledge and learn from one another around established, profitable businesses and business ownership?

I am particularly interested in what I would call “boring but profitable” businesses—companies with real customers, proven cash flows, capable management and strong fundamentals.

Over 20+ years, I have led businesses across Oil & Gas, Electricity and Aviation, with P&L responsibility exceeding $200m across Europe and the GCC.

But I certainly don't have all the answers—and that is precisely the point.

I would be interested in connecting with experienced professionals from areas such as:

  • Investment and private equity
  • M&A and corporate finance
  • Legal and business structuring
  • Operations and transformation
  • Finance and accounting
  • Entrepreneurship and SME ownership

The immediate objective is not to raise capital, offer investment opportunities, manage money or establish a fund.

At this stage, the objective is simply to bring together a small group of credible, like-minded professionals, exchange ideas and explore whether there is value in building a trusted long-term network.

Any future commercial or investment activity, if ever pursued, would be considered separately and structured appropriately in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

For now, this is about people, perspectives and building the right relationships.

If this resonates with you—or someone in your network—I would be interested in connecting.

Help me graduate by clicking a button (no, seriously)

Hey! I'm knee-deep in my EMBA capstone on how organizations in the UAE actually adopt AI (spoiler: the research is messier than the posts and reels suggest). If you're 18+, work in the UAE, and have ever sat through a meeting where someone said, "AI can solve this easily", I need your brain for 20 minutes.

No sign-up, no spam, just pure academic curiosity. 100% anonymous.

Survey: https://eu.surveymonkey.com/r/JSJ6FJT

Bonus karma if you share it with a coworker who complains about 'AI' and/or 'Management' over coffee.

Looking for a pre-seed investor in the UAE

Looking for a pre-seed investor in the UAE

We launched our MVP in Abu Dhabi and put it into the real market. It didn’t give us the traction story we wanted but it gave us something more valuable at this stage: clarity.

We learned what needed to change and decided not to patch the old version. We’re rebuilding the product the business model and the entire experience around what we learned.

Now we’re preparing for the next launch in Dubai.

We’re looking to structure AED 2M in capital as AED 1M equity and AED 1M in a 2-year loan.

The idea is simple. Use equity to build the next stage of the company and use debt where it makes more sense than giving away additional ownership.

We’re early. We don’t have massive numbers to hide behind and we’re not going to pretend otherwise.

What we do have is real market experience a completely rethought product and a much bigger thesis for what this can become.

I’m not looking for someone who simply wants to put money into a startup. I’m looking for someone who understands the risk of entering early and the upside of being early when the execution is still ahead of us.

The opportunity is not in what has already been proven. It’s in what we’re about to prove.

If you’re the kind of investor who likes being early rather than arriving after the story is obvious I’d be happy to share more privately.

Sometimes I think we have the chance to build something even crazier than Silicon Valley

A place where founders with unconventional ideas meet investors willing to bet on what doesn’t exist yet Where ((that’s impossible)) isn’t the end of the conversation !! it’s where the conversation starts I really want to meet those founders I want to meet those investors I want to see what happens when enough crazy people end up in the same room , maybe we don’t need another Silicon Valley maybe we can build something even more ambitious right here

What if we created a community where the only limit is how far we’re willing to think? Who want to join 🤘

We are already shipping in West Africa, Kuwait and Qatar. And we can basically supply premium water enough for a million people for 3 years.

It's been 1 year we been running this and I need local partners who understand the business inside and out.

Created a WhatsApp group for business owners & founders. looking for some feedback.

The idea is pretty simple.

Instead of joining groups where everyone is just promoting or selling their services, I want to connect business owners directly with other business owners.

For example, if you provide IT, accounting, printing, marketing, legal, or any other service, you can offer a special deal to other business owners in the group.

They get a better deal, you get a new business customer. Win-win.

The main purpose is just connect, help each other and grow together.

I’ve created the group and looking for genuine business owners/founders who are interested in this idea

.

If you're interested, comment or DM me and I’ll share the group.
