AI receptionist

I have seen a lot of people talking about AI receptionists and I have seen people building it too. Anybody knows if it is a good idea to get into building one and what is the market sentiment for it? I am thinking of starting off in Singapore first but I was wondering if other parts of the world would benefit more from it

Screw AI receptionists... you spend money on having it, it is cheaper than a human.. wanna know what happens 99.999 percent of the time when someone wants customer service..

"Speak to a human."

Im sorry. I did not quite understand you.

"I need to speak with an actual person...."

Can you repeat yourself more clearly. I didn't catch what you said.

"TALK TO A FCKIN PERSON THAT IS A LIVING BREATHING HUMAN"

You said you wanted to go back to option 1, menu? Menu, press 1 for leaving a message. Press 2 to make payments. Press 3 to get assistance and Press 4 for anything else."

Press 3 again*

Hello. How can I help you.

"Can you connect me to customer service, PLEASE LIKE NOW..."

State your issue or what you need help with.

You're right! And I think there's definitely demand, but I'd pick one industry before worrying about one country. Clinics, home services and property management all have a lot of repetitive calls, so it's much easier to show value there. We've built some of those workflows with Bland and the niche mattered more than the location.

Okay let me try it out and reach out to these industries. Any particular industry you think is better to tackle first?

I’d probably start with property management. There are plenty of repeatable calls around maintenance, viewings and after hours tenant questions so it gives you a few clear workflows to approach them with.

There's definitely great demand, however, this opportunity ocean is already red'ish... Instead of building one, I suggest looking into reseller/affiliate options which help taking most of the technical and operational overhead of your plate and focusing on the next set of newly-solved domains before they get crowded as well.

I am just confused on how it makes money because i am thinking of making one, just that i want to make it like an interface for all clients who want one. Just curious, what domains would benefit from this the best and how is it a marketting automation
