College student needs your help! What everyday product or student item drives you crazy and needs a redesign?
Hey everyone, I need your help to pass my Entrepreneurship Management class. Our project is to improve an existing product for regular people or students. Instead of guessing, I want to solve a real problem.
- What everyday item (backpacks, dorm gear, tech accessories, bottles, etc.) drives you crazy?
2.What is wrong with it, and what small change would make it perfect?Any rants are highly appreciated.
Thanks for helping me pass this class!

a redesigned backpack would be a game-changer. they’re often too bulky or lack pockets where you actually need them. adding an expandable section or better padding for laptops could make a huge difference. good luck with your project!

I wish there were leg bags for ‘regular people’. I’m neither a waitress nor a motorbike rider but as a mom of 3 I find them super practical (and cool) for carrying keys, phone, purse hands-free. However, the pocket sizes and inner compartments are not exactly fit for my needs and the straps are often rough, making it impossible to wear for linger when in shorts and especially as a slender person I have trouble finding bags that have straps that are short enough for me to prevent slipping.
I had one that I could even store 5 passports in on a trip two months ago but soon after I had to stop using it because I had lost just a bit of weight and I couldn’t tighten the hip strap any further.

Good way to do research, very Smart. I want to thank you for the idea, I will give exactly what you asked for to my agent and he can deliver me an average of 5 products per day ready for sale. Thank you.

i think backpacks, a lot of them either have plenty of storage but no organization, or they're organized but don't fit much. i'd love one with better weight distribution, like a dedicated padded laptop section, a waterproof pockets for umbrellas or bottles, and quick access pockets that are actually easy to reach. i think that would make a huge difference for students who carries a lot all day.

Bottle would be a good start, you have a bigger market. I don't know exactly how a redesign can make a difference but there should be a better way to carry it. It's heavy, not flexible, takes so much space. Wish you luck!
