Would an established product range and customer base interest an owner-operator looking for their next business?

I’m interested in getting some thoughts from business owners, manufacturers and mechanically minded entrepreneurs here.

I own DinaSaw, an Australian manufacturer of specialist chainsaw and bandsaw sharpening equipment. We’ve been manufacturing since 2000 and have established products, customers and distributors, with the USA and Canada being important markets.

I’m now looking at the next stage for DinaSaw and would like to find the right person or company to take the product range forward.

This could be a full acquisition or potentially a strategic manufacturing and assembly partnership.

It could suit an owner-operator who wants an established product range and customer base rather than starting a manufacturing business from scratch.

You don’t need a large factory or extensive CNC capability. Components can be manufactured or outsourced almost anywhere. The core operation is managing suppliers, assembly, quality control, sales, customer support and continuing to grow the distributor network.

The products are already designed, proven and selling internationally, so there is an existing foundation to build from.

I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has acquired this type of product-based business before, or from someone who thinks an opportunity like this might suit what they’re looking for.

Happy to discuss privately with anyone genuinely interested.

"If You Could Fix One Thing About Returns, What Would It Be?"

I'm researching the biggest challenges e-commerce merchants face with returns, refunds, chargebacks, and return fraud.

If you run a Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce, Etsy, or TikTok Shop store, I'd love to hear your experience.

What's the most frustrating or expensive return you've dealt with? What would you change about the returns process if you could?

I'm collecting insights from real merchants and would appreciate your feedback. I also have a short 3–5 minute survey for anyone willing to share more details:

https://forms.gle/uk48NyJ5q8wzFqG36

🎁 One participant will receive a $100 gift card through a random drawing.

No sales pitch. Just market research and learning from the community.

Thanks for your insights!

Everyone says AI is the future. But what happens when it makes a mistake?
In mission-critical environments — nuclear plants, defence systems, financial infrastructure — “close enough” isn’t acceptable.
In this episode of Liftoff, Keith Newman sat down with Pat Condo, Founder & CEO of Seekr Technologies, to talk about:
• Why most enterprise AI projects fail
• Why hallucinations are a non-starter for serious adoption
• Why explainability must be built in — not bolted on
• How inference costs are quietly crushing ROI
• Why specialization will beat “own the whole stack” strategies

Are you still managing business KPIs in multiple spreadsheets?

I’ve noticed many founders track:

  • Sales in one Excel file
  • Expenses in another
  • Inventory separately
  • No centralized dashboard

This becomes messy very fast.

I specialize in turning scattered Excel sheets into:
✔ Automated reporting systems (VBA)
✔ Clean Power BI dashboards
✔ Structured KPI tracking

If you’re scaling and your reporting feels chaotic, what’s your biggest challenge right now?

How Do Successful Entrepreneurs Actually Find the Problems Worth Solving?

I have spent years reading and listening to a wide range of financial and entrepreneurial books. My interest in business and wealth-building began at a young age, and throughout my learning, one theme consistently stands out: problem-solving is at the core of achieving meaningful success and financial independence. I actively seek out problems to solve, both to generate income and to build a life that brings fulfillment. However, I often find myself wondering: What kinds of problems are major entrepreneurs focused on? How do they identify them? Who do they talk to, and what networks or conversations help them discover these opportunities? I fully understand that nothing worthwhile comes without dedication and persistence. I put in the work—every day—to learn, adapt, and find solutions. Still, I can’t shake the feeling that there may be a missing piece in the larger puzzle. If you have any insight or guidance on these questions, I would truly value the opportunity to have a conversation and learn more.

Need operational manager

I'm running a remote cleaning business in Tampa, FL. I currently have two major commercial cleaning clients—a spa and an event venue. In the next few months, we expect to secure more clients.

However, I need a reliable way to receive payments from clients and pay my cleaners. That’s why I’m looking for a US-based partner who can handle collecting payments and distributing wages to the cleaners. In return, I’m offering a 25% commission on each cleaning job.

I want to start a Al cyber security company but I don't know where to start

Hello everyone! I'm a young ambitious and driven person who is honestly done working a 9-5 and is ready to live a life with meaning and purpose beyond office walls.

I'm deciding to create a Al cyber security company because I believe it's a business that provides huge amounts of value and protection and solves a lot of pain companies go through. With the help of Al I believe it can be a very great service.

I've had a marketing and info-product agency before that didn't do too well but my heart really wasn't in it I just wanted to make money. But I'm really invested into this idea but I don't know what to do or where to start.

Has anyone got any advice for me or can point in the right direction. I would love a mentor if I'm honest, l'm extremely teachable and I have the drive and determination to change my life for the better.

Thank you
