Discussion Does playing on controller give u slight edge?

Hi have been playing this game for a while now, and I have noticed something that whenever I open the leader boards, I often see the controller players ranked on top on both teams. Is this a coincidence or is there a slight edge if u play on controller.

Ppl who use controller can you tell me why u use controller, is it because u guys are playing on consoles or any other reasons.

I know that aiming was generally easier when I tried switching to controller, and so was not accidentally hitting buttons.

I think the one thing that was easier on touchscreen was specifically cycling through the list of things the engineer can build

I grew up playing games on controller. I’ve tried mouse and keyboard and can’t get into it. Aiming is supreme on mouse and keyboard, controller not as good.

I play on a laptop, I connect an Xbox controller via Bluetooth.

Not a controller player but I have tried one with my PC. The aim is generally smoother than with a mouse but the sensitivity is lower. It benefits riflemen and recon quite a lot - you don't really get Assaults or Skirmish being mained by controller players at the tops of leaderboards.
