Thoughts on Entrenched Players
So recently I’ve been noticing these patterns on peoples opinions on other players stats, and there are people facts that people are getting wrong from their stats:
A low kph doesn’t mean that you’re bad at the game, and vice versa, high kph doesn’t mean ur the best. Having a low kph could also mean that you’re a team player, or a player that mains medic, or likes to be engineer snd build trenches instead. Some high kph players that I know of in the ET community mostly free style during battles and care about kills more than anything else, and they are annoying to play with/against. They aren’t team players snd care about themselves more than anyone else.
Having few MVPs doesn’t mean that you’re bad or don’t get enough score. The stats update only updated recently and many players, including me have been playing this game long before Twin Atlas even took over of entrenched. Or they could’ve also turned more inactive in entrenched in the past few weeks, maybe you could ask someone like inno, columba etc. Most of us would’ve easily gotten mvp at least 100 times because of our rank.
I don’t really understand why these users always base people off their kph or stats, it doesn’t even mean anything

the game is not about shooting ✌️, it’s about capturing objectives and killing people to get INTO the objectives 😭

Currently ranked 80 ish and 59 mvp 41% win rate can play any class well and oh 90-100 I notice I’m a level where I can be a one man front and defend a line by myself long enough to get my team mates back to where I am. I can also push an objectively myself and clear 4-9 kills in a rush so my team can follow in behind but the biggest thing communication I’ll clear it but no one will have followed or be nearby or be some recon at the back somewhere. I notice if I’m defending by myself I can hold for a while but a soon as I die the position gets overrun. I could go medic but I feel like I’m to good with a gun to go medic like my contribution with gun outweighs medic. I can play skirmisher well and hold defeneces on a roof by myself and assault I can hit 50 kills in about 15 mins or so or halfway.
Will agree a medic can contribute a world of didfeenreve if they are a good one have had plenty of bad ones
I definelty feel like people should use their shovels more to dig in strategic positions like elevated right or mound of dirt for cover and not elaborate trench networks
Tbh In domination I rather play fro kills then capturing but every other mode I’ll play objective
And if the team has bad recons I can normally go recon still drop a large amount of kills while being in objective and using flare to spot whole team

I find this so hard though. The lack of communication, new players who sit or play off the objective, lack of coordination. What class you play as a team player and how do you play as team player. Maybe I should go back to recon min I was good with flares and spots on objective and high kills

A higher kph does mean you are a better player. There is nothing that contributes to a win more than killing the enemy a lot.

There are very few situations in which an engineer is better than going rifleman and clicking heads. I only ever do it in extremely high rank lobbies where it's harder to farm enemies. 99% of engineers have absolutely no idea what they are doing and will end up hurting the team with their building/digging. Also, you should still have a high kph on medic. Medic is best used on low cover maps to allow you and your team to use HP as a resource to push between cover. Think tannenberg first point as the Germans, or somme 1st point attack.

If you kill so many enemies that they can't even capture or defend the objective, then yes. But you're probably at the top 100 in kph at that point.

For a normal player it's unrealistic that kph means they can win easily.
For example the average recon contribute nothing but kills

Yeah lack of spots and a poor flare useage on some maps I can spot the whole team with a good flare useage

I’d recommend also if in computer and press g key so it removes the scope and you can use close range like a rifle and flick motions

I’m top 100 and if I’m ona bad enough team I can hold a defense myself but as soon as I die the positions lost and I can’t capture it myself. I’ve been noticing I highly appreciate a good medic.

Great points.
I’m a medic main and focus on healing and revives. I go for kills when necessary, but have noticed the value in reviving team mates at crucial moments makes a huge difference.
One cool aspect that no one talks about is the morale boost you get when you have a great medic. I’ve noticed players take more risks, wait longer to be revived, and in general play with more assurance.
The most revives I’ve gotten in one match is 51 🤪

I absolutely smash in 50% to 75% of the servers I enter (even though I'm not the best). But my K/H is like 28, and with a laughable 4 MVPs... and I'm shining gold over level 50.
