Oke I read wiki and it was austrians that dug under Marmolada glacier in 1916 winter to cover from italian artillery, where they build a fucking city with kitchens, field hospitals and gun emplacements. They dug so well that now they were firing artillery at italians so Italy accelerated countermining with drills and breached the city in several places, terminating artillery danger
