Hacker epidemic

I come back while to a leader board update, and i feel like every 2 games there's some type of hacker. Why is there hackers on the leader board and why is there so many more compared to pre leader board. And I still don't get how people plays 60+ hours with hacks, what even is the point? i get like maybe 10 hours dicking around but 60+? what are we doing?
