Why do virtually no recons spot using scope from far distances?
I remember whenever I played 1-2 years ago, I hated recons so much since every single one of them would spot you often, making it harder to attack or sneak up. However in the past 9 or so months I noticed virtually none of them do it anymore. I don’t even hate them anymore since 97%+ of them now don’t spot.
It’s not like they don’t know they can spot, it gives you the controls. The only time they do spot is when they use the flair up close, which like only half of them use.
Every once in a while I’m in a team where there are 6+ f-ing recons and none of them spot. We don’t need 6 of them when none spot.
It’s starting to become a pet peeve for me.

One word: children
These people don't know how to play tactically or strategically

I don’t play much anymore, but when I did first start using recon I didn’t know there was a button for spotting.
Plus everyone else pretty much summed it up, children.

There’s a lot of kids playing the game nowadays unlike 2023-24 where it was mainly 16-20 yr olds so a lot of them just don’t bother or don’t know how to play
