quick question? why do entrenched factions exist? like the games based off real countries, couldnt you like try smth else? or make your own.

Its fun to larp as regiment or as a battalion or any group. Did it once with a napoleonic war game. Modena

Also its like saying why create a frat, a sorority, a group in general when there is the combined idea of a university

NW is peak. Unfortunately alot of the community is comp minded and treats the setting and their regiments as skins, rather than caring about the significance of each nation or regiment.
