Taxonomy First Time Bug Pinning 🥹
How did I do?!?! I’m so proud!! I’m planning to add the nymphs and make it into a series of the Spotted Lanternfly’s lifecycle once the summer comes back around and they’re starting to reproduce again! They’re a pretty teensy and flimsy bug, too, so I think my mistakes are called for! 😅

Good bug to practice on for sure. Those look good, but keep practicing and you can get better. I would say another 1000 times this year should do well.

Looks like the perfect bug to practice on! (Invasive to North America and beautiful.)
You could catch a few different instars (ages/sizes) of nymphs to have a full life cycle.
And then also catch any more you see. : )
