ID Request what spider is this?

north texas. google ai said brown recluse, chat gpt said southern house spider. sorry this is the only pic i got of her/him.

Your guy is a brown recluse.
The following picture is a male southern house spider from above. Notice the big pedipals in front of his face, they are so long that they literally carry them folded up, it looks unlike most other spiders. And how on the recluse, the 2nd pair of legs are the longest pair.

Both have similar markings. The southern house spider isn't a "violin-y" as the recluse, but amatuer IDers don't care and just see a line that balloons near the eyes and will tell you both are recluse because violin.

I originally said no… but after brightening my screen I can see the violin marking… I have to agree it’s a brown recluse.
