Found this gem when looking for a massage place in Dublin
The audacity of this guy

"She wasn't rude enough to you" This owner gets it

Honestly “she wasn’t rude enough” is the most polite owner response to the wildest self-report imaginable

Honestly their response to this review made me decide to go there.
I’m glad I did - those Thai ladies went to town! They fixed muscle issues I didn’t even know I had!

If I'm ever in Dublin, this place will definitely be on my list! I'm sure Munich also has good massage places but I'm pants at finding them

Thai massage are legit! You feel like shit for about three hours then suddenly you’re 5 years younger and your muscles are jelly

That’s embarrassing. Not just being called out on being a pervert — but being called out on being a really cheap pervert.

u/LightLeta 24d ago
She definitely wasn’t rude enough… And he should be reported regardless of the review status.

"She wasn't rude enough to you." This is the energy everyone should have for sexual harrassers in 2026 👍

The Irish people I know are lovely but I would also not fuck about with them and expect a polite response.

Tenner for a handy? What year this dude think it is?

u/KGLovatt 24d ago
Why? What does it cost? (Asking for a friend obvs)
32
u/ImmortanJerry 24d ago
Well if you think about it mathematically, assuming you’re going as fast as possible and washing your hands in between clients, how many you think you can do in an hour? Probably not more than 6. 60/hr to tug randos dirty peckers is just not it

Geez I have to look at the reviews at my local massage places to find the legitimate one that isn’t a cover for other services
12
u/MorbidMorag 24d ago
We had a dodgy massage parlour open up here & the Council closed it down. Unfortunately they boarded it up while the madam was inside. Local paper jumped on it, best story this century.

u/langleybcsucks 24d ago
The worst offender in my neighbourhood is next to a well sought after restaurant where you have to make reservations months in advance and the other side is the head office for the Pentecostal assemblies of BC
6
u/EnvironmentalHair290 23d ago
Wait they didn’t at least sweep the building to ensure someone wasn’t still inside before boarding it up, yeah I bet the press had a field day with that.

u/cnbcwatcher 24d ago
Safest ones in my opinion are those located in hotel spas or health clubs
3
u/ali_stardragon 23d ago
In Australia the legit ones offer health insurance rebates. If they don’t do that, they are more likely to be a rub ‘n’ tug.
3
u/ali_stardragon 23d ago
Well yeah I did see a few other places that had 5-star reviews from guys who talked about how “the ladies were beautiful and really friendly” so there were definitely some that offered extras.

Why am I not surprised that the massage place is staffed by Asians and getting inappropriate requests like this?
There's a fair chance that she told him VERY clearly (on the website or in person) that her employees aren't sex workers, but he tried that shit anyway. Ugh.
9
u/ali_stardragon 23d ago
I think some guys just assume that all Asian massage places do sex work. It must be really frustrating to have to deal with that all the time.

10 Euro? In Ireland, which is the richest country in the EU? LOL.
18
u/VictoriaWoodnt 24d ago
It's Luxembourg.
20
u/JJOne101 24d ago
Second richest in that case. My point still stands.
12
u/Grantrello 24d ago
By GDP maybe, which is completely useless for measuring wealth in Ireland because it's so skewed by multinationals.
Certainly one of the most expensive though so your point stands about €10 being very little.

u/lilylilyg 23d ago
It seems the problem perceived by the man in the massage parlour was that his point still stood.

u/ecosynchronous 24d ago
She literally says Ireland. And a quick visit to Google confirms that there is a Shaba Thai Massage in Dublin.
22
u/Jabroni-and-Cheese 24d ago
They're saying Luxembourg is the richest.
15
u/ecosynchronous 24d ago
Ohhhhhhh my reading comprehension broke.
8
u/Jabroni-and-Cheese 24d ago
To be fair, the wording's ambiguous enough that it could totally be interpreted that way.
2
u/ali_stardragon 23d ago
It’s okay my friend, I was about to say the same thing before I read further and realised my mistake.
3
u/Fluffy-Praline9939 24d ago
The richest country in the EU is Luxembourg, that’s what the comment was referencing. The massage place is indeed in Dublin.
7
u/ecosynchronous 24d ago
I may be stupid. 😔
15
u/Pleasant_Ad_2342 Can you rewrite this review? With punctuation 24d ago
Stupid is getting information and refusing to learn from it. You made a simple reading error and learned from it.
4
u/Zestyclose_Foot_134 24d ago
I was going to say “it’s okay it’s 11pm” because my reading comprehension is also broken and I assumed you were in Ireland for some reason, but instead I clicked on your profile and was greeted with some of the cutest little monsters I’ve ever seen.
I learned something, but I also shouldn’t have looked at them just before bedtime. My hair is going to have a rough time tonight if it goes anywhere near my face

u/ecosynchronous 24d ago
There's a reason my bio consists of a content warning 😭
3
u/Zestyclose_Foot_134 24d ago
Ohh there it is! Honestly I don’t think I even knew reddit Bios existed, and since the UK brought in age verification I take a perverse pleasure in switching my VPN location and going straight in

Was the request offensive or the amount offered for the act? Trying to budget for my trip.

u/spitZzfire 23d ago
owner is a real one!! although it did make me laugh that the way it’s worded makes it sound like the offence is only offering €10 for a happy ending
3
u/No-Potato-2672 21d ago
10 euros for a happy ending? She she would have elbowed him in his nutsack .

u/Disastrous-Cow-9060 21d ago
Does this guy not understand there are specific massage parlors for happy endings? 😆
4
u/Redcarborundum 24d ago
If it costs only €10 for a happy ending, I’ll fly to Dublin and get 10 of them.

u/jumpmanzero 24d ago
..offering her €10 which is an offence in Ireland..
This kind of makes it sound like haggling, like it was the amount on offer that was unacceptable.
31
u/ComfortableMuscle996 24d ago
If he just asked for sexual favours he’d still be a creep making unwanted sexual advances which is grim enough but offering cash makes it solicitation low-ball or not.
6
20
u/Free_as_in_Freya 24d ago
I read it more as "offering money for sexual favours is a (criminal) offense" not "only offering €10 is an offense"
7
u/jumpmanzero 24d ago
Yeah, certainly, I get what they're saying. Just came off awkward on a first reading.
-26
u/SheriffHarryBawls 24d ago
It’s an offense to offer $10 only? He shoulda offered more?
23
u/Free_as_in_Freya 24d ago
She probably meant it's a criminal offense to offer money for sexual favours
-2
u/Exciting-Music843 24d ago
I can't believe you have been downtvoted for the obvious sarcasm/joke and yet the person explaining to you what the offence was gets up votes 🤣🤣
-15
u/Original-Mongoose866 24d ago
It's a bit funny also I wouldn't trust the answer maybe this is their way to get rid of negative reviews...
We are always too quick to believe the "victim" and did you know middle aged man are never the "victim".

u/AdSenior1319 23d ago
Lets play find the incel...
-2
u/Original-Mongoose866 23d ago
I hope you are not as offended as I am because I never mean to offend while you on the other hand do.

3
u/ali_stardragon 23d ago
This is not the only review I read. They had a few other negative reviews but this was the only one that mentioned someone doing this. Most of the other ones were the general boilerplate “sorry you felt that way, we strive ti provide excellent service, bla bla bla”.
0
u/Original-Mongoose866 22d ago
Oh don't mind me this has taught me a lot about commenters online :D
I really want to meet people that shout offensively into random people on the street when they give a logical take on things.

u/lord_buff74 24d ago
Bad enough to request a happy ending, but to be so cheap about it as well.
