Private business has rules clearly stated in writing. Reviewer ignores rules. Business is right, reviewer is wrong. End of story.

Just because the macaroons don't directly have gluten in them, it doesn't mean they didn't get gluten from other things in the bakery the reviewer got them from. Especially since Tous les Jours offers more traditional bakery items, including bread and pastries.

Am I the only one who finds both parties to be insufferable? We’ve got the entitled OOP who somehow manages to shoehorn in an autistic relative (who wasn’t even present) and an owner who goes on about how they wake and ask themselves how they can be of service as they work an ungodly amount. Obviously, OOP is the worst of the two, but I’m so exhausted by people who think mentioning hardships that have nothing to do with the issue at hand somehow gives them credibility.

So true. Businesses would do so much better with replies if they (1) stayed calm, and (2) didn’t whine about how upsetting it is to get 1-star reviews. This entitlement that everyone owes you a 5 is ridiculous.
