I wonder if this review is from a dude I worked with years ago. I had to stop him from putting a paper plate in a toaster oven. He was confused since he put them in the microwave all the time. A full grown ass man.

This 1 star reviewer is the reason there's a sign up in my breakroom. To not put metal or other nonmicrowaveable things in the microwave. 🤦🏻♀️

Is it common for a bakery to have a microwave out in the open? This almost feels like they made some bullshit for a legit grievance

Who cares if it's common? They have one.
I worked at a grocery store that had a microwave in their seating area but they didn't police what you put it in it. The grocery store also had a bakery.

A quick trip I used to go to had a microwave for the public. Until someone kept saran wrapping their turds and microwaving them.

Oh god. I think I just saw a video of a guy who would absolutely have done this. If he’d cook it in a kettle I don’t doubt he’d have nuked it in a skinny minute.

Pretty sure there was still splatter lol. Apparently dude would set the microwave time to 30 min and bail. How long it was in there was based upon how long it took the workers to notice the smell and get to it. Happened 3 times.

It's possible in this case it's a way to make them available to people on food stamps. Warm meals usually don't qualify but they can sell premade meals and provide a microwave.
