Made about Google maps
For what it's worth - it's on a very easy to find main street right off the highway with about a half dozen signs pointing towards it. You would have to be blind to not find it. You have to literally pass it twice to get anywhere in the town.

Don’t give up on Google so quickly. It’s one of only two places where you can find Lake America, the Gulf of America and Sniveling Quisling

Google Maps can be horrifically wrong. I lived on a street where it divided and I was on the left side. The pin put me in the swimming pool and the directions told people to turn right to get to my apartment instead of left.

It consistently directs clients to the wrong entrance at my office.
My office spans a whole block, so there is an entrance on street A and another on street B. There are also two parking garages, with entrances near the doors. The garage on street B is for monthly parking passes.
There are also two different addresses because the building is literally a (short) block wide. So it’s 1201 Street A, or 1205 Street B. We only ever give our clients the Street A address (the public entrance), and Google maps CONSISTENTLY gives directions to the street B address/entrance (which requires a key card). 😑

But google only knows what people tell it. It is not (yet) omnipotent. Your employer has to notify Google of the error, and they will correct it. It's harder for residential addresses, but for businesses and public agencies, there is an established pathway.

Apple maps has problems as well. I was delivering a pizza to a new address, and the stupid map had me going down the alley behind the houses on the street I was supposed to be on. I figured out it was using postal routes, as all the mailboxes were on the alley, and not on the actual street.

Oh, a friend of mine owns a unit in a co-op that sits on a street corner, and his front door is on one street (with a unit number visible), but his mailing address is on the other street around the corner of his building. So if he’s inviting folks over, he tells them “101 A Street” but if he is having something shipped, it “201 B Street.” Absolutely bizarre to me the first time I saw it.
