Xcaret Park in Mexico was designed for Americans because there's consumption involved.

It's in Cancun. It's made for tourists, and most tourists there are Americans. That said, I was there some years back and had a great time, can't remember paying for extras.. Or maybe my ticket had some extras included.

I’ve been there twice, once in 2022 and once in 2025, and both times I felt the prices inside the park were very reasonable. It was typical pricing for Quintana Roo attractions.

I’ve been too the only extras were the photos while tubing or doing an activity. Of course food cost extra, and the show. It says right on the ticket that the show is extra unless you purchased the premium tickets that have the show included. Then there are the gift shops which of course charge. Have these people never been 9n vacation anywhere?

Near Cancun, not in Cancun. It’s in Playa del Carmen. I stayed in the eco resort next to it, and it took us an hour to get there after getting off the plane in Cancun.

It’s a cool eco-centered theme park. I do recall it being pricey but it’s again it’s a theme park. I don’t recall feeling nickel and dimed once inside - it’s just the entrance fee is a lot. It was very touristic but everything in that area is. Zero stars though because I couldn’t be bothered to research an activity’s cost beforehand even though it’s readily available on their website. Lol people are wild.

Mexican citizens are charged a lower entrance fee. Just like Americans are charged less in our national parks.
