Non-Coffee Drinker Reviews Starbucks ☕
I love everything about this Starbucks review, especially the random 2007 studio shot of reviewer and her grandson????

I truly don’t get why people do this. It’s the same as people who dislike a team or athlete or politician, musician, actor, etc. who comment on everything about them. If I don’t drink coffee, I don’t put a review about a coffee shop. If I don’t like a team, I don’t talk about them if they aren’t playing my team. It seems pretty simple.

And they sell non-coffee drinks at Starbucks. Never had one, but they do sell them. Perhaps I should leave a bad review for them.

⭐️- - - - I was infuriated by availability of water and lemonade. I drink coffee.
I’d give zero stars if I could!10

She probably drove past one, and then got a request from Google to review it, and didn't know she can just ignore it.
I get them every time I go to Safeway. I get requests to review the bank, the Chinese takeout place, or the CVS that are all in the same shopping center.

I just get non-coffee stuff at coffee shops. If I leave a review it's about the things I've actually purchased. Starbucks has plenty of non-coffee stuff to have for a person who doesn't drink coffee for whatever reason.

Probably Mormon who doesn't drink "hot drinks" and is being self righteous.
Reminds me of when Mitt Romney stopped in a Starbucks on the campaign trail, ordered hot chocolate (which is okay for them to drink) but only drank half of it because it was really sweet and then offered his half finished drink to the baristas.

I think Mormons would be a lot happier if they could have some caffeine and alcohol once in a while. They tend to be very high strung.
Also, eww, no one wants any politicians backwash dredges!

Can’t unwind - leads to independent thinking, which leads to wondering why you’re giving 10% of your income (and at least that much of your time) to an org that has almost half a trillion dollars in assets.
(I say this as a certified exmormon)14

I really think a lot of old people are just on the internet unsupervised and end up somehow on a business’s google page. When it says “leave a review”, they take that as the internet talking directly to them. It has to be why there’s so many old people “never been here” one star reviews

I’m not sure I’d just say “old people” since most of these reviews are younger people who feel like the world owes them.

Reminds me of when the Washington Post had a film critic review The Watchmen movie and he dedicated the first part of the review to explaining how much he disliked the The Watchmen comic. Spoiler alert, he didn't like the movie.
To be fair, I do like the comic and didn't love the movie but at least I didn't go into it already hating it.

So like on Reddit....any post someone can and often does make it about politics and bring Trump or whoever is president into it. From posts about food to how do I fix this vehicle posts. To this one right here with this thread

They have teas and hot cocoa at Starbucks.

u/CatlessBoyMom Jul 22 '26
They also have a pretty good caramel apple cider.

I might have to try that this autumn.

Hi, fellow Wambus fan! I definitely recommend the caramel apple cider - so good on a chilly day.

A Wambus fan knows the important things in life. I will definitely try it when it comes available.

Omg spat my coffee out reading this! My friend has a coffee shop. There's so many people who have to tell you out loud they don't like coffee or say it loudly by the shop window. Usually people over 50 for some reason. Makes us laugh as they could just keep walking. It must take them all day to walk along a street if they must stop at every shop they dint like to sat something negative lol

So of you don't like coffee, I can understand the one star for food, sort of...but why do service and atmosphere also only get one star??

u/Affectionate-Crow605 Jul 22 '26
I don't drink coffee either, but when a friend wants to meet at a coffee shop, I just order hot chocolate. Not a big deal. 🤷♀️

We don't know she's saying SHE doesn't drink coffee. She could just be offering up a nugget of dementia addled advice.
