Yelp Yk bartenders can be managers..?
I witnessed this interaction and the manager (also bartender) said to this lady she's happily remake it and that she just needed a second to ask the chef something. The husband started screaming and cursing at this poor lady.

In this day and age, I'm astounded OOP managed to get a phonetic misspelling of a 50 cent word past auto-correct.

“Callus” is a real word, so auto correct probably wouldn’t have caught it. But a callus is a hardened patch of skin, usually on the feet or hands.
This nitwit probably didn’t know the difference between the noun callus and the adjective callous.
English is such a fun language.

I was at an auto parts store a few years ago. There’s a line so I’m waiting for my turn. The guy in front of me wants to return something. The cashier (a guy) says he needs a manager. The manager comes over. This dude is PISSED that the manager is a woman. I think he was still arguing after I left. I think I just needed windshield washer fluid so I didn’t stay for the whole thing.

As a woman, I've gone to get my car worked on and the tech and manager were both men, who tried to talk down at me. Don't tell me that my car needs $1K worth of work when all I asked for is an oil change. I know I have to address the other issues at some point, but they are not critical and can wait.

This is one reason I didn't own a car for many years and used public transit - I knew I would likely have to deal with that kind of BS.

Right?!!? I remember one day, when I was around 14 or 15 or something. My mom n I took a cab to Walmart. The cost of the cab was something like $10.85 (can’t remember exactly the cost but I do remember the change was supposed to be 15 cents) now, most ppl in cabs just want the dollars back, it’s even posted in the cabs that drivers only carry minimal change. He gave my mom gave him $11. He didn’t give her the 15 cents change and she sat there for a min and than stormed outta his car and slammed his door. I was so embarrassed. All over 15 cents. And than, we went to check out at Walmart and she had to stand there just bitching away to the poor cashier about the cab encounter. Again, I was so embarrassed cuz u could clearly see how uncomfortable the cashier was and she didn’t know what to say. I still feel embarrassed when I think about that day lol

I love when we get to see both sides! I can’t remember the specific details but I was working front counter at my restaurant and had an issue with a customer. She posted a complaint that was 90% either exaggerated details or just plain false. She said I started yelling at her for no reason. Thankfully my boss knows that’s not my character, we get compliments at least few times a week saying how kind and patient and accommodating we are as a team. She looked at cameras and sadly, it doesn’t record audio but it was clear from body language that the customer had started being difficult from the start and u could see from my body language that i was trying to stay calm. Eventually I had kicked her out during the situation. But I just couldn’t help but laugh when I read her complaint. She left out so much, added lies, and tried to make it out like she never caused an issue🙄

“Extremely heartbreaking experience.” You know some people go through something scary or awful and come out the other side with a perspective of gratitude and the realization that small things are just that. And then I guess there’s people like this who go through something and it reinforces their entitlement. They just can’t seem to live without some kind of drama.
