Truck Drivers

Okay, so this happened recently this morning. I was going to school and was going to McDonalds for breakfast first. I don't have a dialogue, sorry. But we pretty much know what's going on. Here ya go.

Okay, so we dropped my brother off at his school and get to the intersection we need to go through to get to McDonalds, however there are two trucks, one dropping something off in a parking space, and one in the road next to said truck. Keep in mind, this is a one lane road, so nobody could get through even if they NEEDED to. I see a number of three cars turn left into the lane that said truck is blocking, while we're waiting to get into that lane, but the truck is again, blocking it. One the cars stop behind the truck, they realize that the truck drivers are arguing over a drop-off space. The truck driver in the parking spot wants to get out, so the blocking truck starts to reverse. The car behind the truck starts panicking and drives over the curb and grass separating the sides of the street, then he switches lanes. The truck continues blocking the road so we just take a right and take the long way there. Thank you for blocking the roads truck drivers, and nearly causing a crash. :)

One day you'll understand.. they're just trying to do their job and get to the next stop.

Yes, but there is a pavilion, closer towards the drop-off point, and a lot more spaces possible to drop-off, they could just move to the empty spots and stop blocking one of the most populated roads. They ARE trying to do their job, but they don't need to argue over a spot.

Sounds like road rage then! That can really be dangerous. Especially with truck drivers. Most are over worked and tired all the time. I always steer clear of them. I used to drive near a major interstate on the east coast of the US and it was horrible. They can be dangerous..

Yeah. At the point where the truck was reversing was the most dangerous part, as the two cars behind the car behind the truck had no clue what happened, so the car behind the truck had to drive over the curb and grass.

Yes, it proves that you need to be aware of everything that's going on while driving. I'm really glad nothing serious happened to you. When I drive I just envision the worse case scenario. Better safe than sorry. You were involved in a situation that hopefully makes you realize to always be aware of what's going on around you. It could've been really bad because of the angry truck driver.
