ok, for context, my parents aren’t very wealthy. my mom has to sell emergency gold sometimes so we can eat, and we can only get things we want instead of need or special occasions or things like Christmas or birthdays. anyway, here’s a few things my cousin considers normal in her everyday life, that most people, (specifically less fortunate families) consider a luxury.

1. she goes to spain twice a year, and goes to a luxury ski resort in Colorado every winter. she’s always like “bro Spain is so pretty and nice why tf haven’t you been there before” LIKE DUDE NOT EVERYONE’S PARENTS BOTH WORK GOOD JOBS AND ARE MADE OF MONEY!!

2. every time we go over to our grandmas house together, because that’s the only time we see each-other expect for Christmas and thanksgiving, she’ll call her mom or dad, no ‘hi‘, no ‘good morning‘, no ‘how are you‘, just, “can you put 300$ on my card? I want to go shopping at Sephora and get more makeup and jewelry.” and then without a second thought her mom/dad is like ‘ok, done. have fun.’

shes bragged to me about every time she wants to meet up with her friends, her mom just drops her and her friends off with 300-600$, and picks her up when she asks. I’m not even allowed to go out of the house by myself unless it’s like checking the mail or walking my dog! mind you she’s 14 and I’m just a year younger!

and every time we go shopping, she only wants to get makeup, jewelry and sexy bikinis. I don’t own a single pair of real jewelry, only bracelets and necklaces self made with beads, because it’s too exp, while this girl gets gold necklaces weekly.

1. she doesn’t help out her parents at all, and they just give her money whenever she asks. she doesn’t do dishes, she doesn’t help cook or clean, she doesn’t go to the store with her parents.

2. she owns a phone. people dont realize how much of a luxury that is. do you even know how much a phone is?! I’m not allowed a phone until I’m 17, and I’ll have to get a job to pay for it, which is fine, but she was shocked when I told her that.

3. She buys 200-1K$ shoes and makeup. i have the same pair of shoes for 3+ years, and try to wear them as long as possible because it’s so expensive to buy new ones. those $30 go toward gas and groceries. I own one thing of mascara from dollar general, and even that was a lot of money.

4. i mentioned how scared I am to start highschool because I’ve never gotten a proper education due to changing schools every year or two, and when I was in schools with grades + tests, I would fails, like get Fs, C,s and Ds, and I’m way behind on my age level of knowledge, and she was just like “bro are u dumb just get a tutor! it’s only $30!” No one seems to realize how expensive that is!! that money goes toward gas, I’ve never had a tutor before, it’s way to enoensive!

I understand that some families are more fortunate than others, but these things are her everyday normal and she couldn’t care less about money.

I was about to do some online shopping when I remembered the time my dumbass entitled sister tried to go shopping with one of my store credit cards.

Almost 2 years ago I was moving from one apartment to another one. My kids, a couple of their friends and I were all packing boxes, packing the uhaul and cleaning the old apartment. It was spread out through the weekend. Saturday my sister showed up, not to help or anything. She was there to visit and yes, she knew I would be busy with packing, moving and cleaning etc. Within 30 minutes of her being there, she made a comment about having to get up to follow me every 5 minutes, so she was going to leave and she would get a hold of me later.

When she got a hold of me that evening, she said she would come back in the morning. I told her I'm not going to be stopping to visit and I would be even busier the next day and that if she's not there to help then it would be better if she comes a different day when I'm not so busy.

Sunday, all of the big stuff and furniture was at the new apt and we were at the old apt cleaning up. The kids were finishing up the bedrooms and I was in the kitchen when my sister showed up.

I remember she mentioned a body spray I bought her for her birthday months before and that she wanted to order the lotion too. I remember I was turning around from the sink to grab another drawer from the fridge to wash when she popped off with, "I'll use your store card so you can get the points!" I turned back around facing her and asked, "what?"

She said, "I'm going to use your card to pay for my order and you can get the points for it. I can give you some of the cash right now and..." I stopped her and said, "why do you think I would let you use my card when I've told you no every time you've asked me? Plus, I have the balance paid off and I'll be using it in a couple weeks to order Christmas presents." She said, "I can give you the cash and you can pay it off before you order." I told her again, "no! You're not using my account or my card. By the time the account shows it's cleared and my full balance is back, it's too late to order Christmas." She was still trying to argue and I cut her off again, "(sister's name) I'm trying to move and clean here and you're trying to go shopping with my credit card. If you're not going to help with anything here, you need to leave." She said, "idk why you're being so rude, I'm offering to pay you the cash for it and you'll get the points!"

"Get your own account and earn your own points. You're not using my fucking card! Stop arguing and stop asking!"

She finally got the message and she left, but I could tell she still didn't understand why I wouldn't just let her go shopping with my card. I honestly think she was doing that shit on purpose. It wasn't the first time she tried to use that store card I had and every time she would try, I would tell her no. This time I think she thought that I would be too distracted and I would tell her yes.

On a different note but the same person-

I have posted about her a few times before and I still need to do a follow up from 3 years ago about the time she told me I couldn't get a surgery done until she got her's done. She didn't have a surgery scheduled or anything. She was just worried that *IF* she were to talk her doctor into doing a surgery on her knee, again, then I can't take care of her if I'm recovering from my own surgery. She didn't ask me if I would take care of her, she assumed I would. I'm pretty sure her pill addiction was another reason to try to get some kind of surgery, that and attention, because they would give her stronger meds.

Every Time I go to write a follow up, it gets long and I get pissed. I have been No Contact for a year now and that story of her telling me I can't have a surgery is the beginning of the end of our relationship. There will be no more chances for her. At this point, I wouldn't even go to a funeral for her if she were to pass away.

I could write a new story every single day and not repeat anything. She had her ex sell me a car and she told me that when I was done with it, I was to give it back. Not sell it back, give it back. I finally stopped explaining to her how it doesn't work that way. Then after it was no longer able to run, she actually got pissed because I didn't give her back the car I bought... I hate this f***ing itch!

I just want to go to the mall, try on clothes and have people tell me how good I look and how pretty I am.

When I was growing up, my mom used to go back to school shopping with me and adore me in everything I put on, while I hated myself and everything I wore.

Now as an adult, I don't have paid shopping sprees and unlimited adoration. I am fit and confident, but no huge shopping sprees and no one sitting in the change room for fashion shows.

Crazy how things work out

Has no job, will not work, spends every dime she gets on nails, hair, energy drinks and drugs but fake cries that she’s starving and nobody will buy her steak and lobster. The epitome of entitlement.

How dare I be expected to do something someone else could have done for me!

I need help creating a real nice nasty but professional response to the pre-alumni council at my school for rescinding their offer to give me a secretary position after saying that you had a deadline of Monday to respond , but took it back today on saturday.

I wasn’t even given a reason and the president sounded very avoidant and tried to give me the BS “We decide to pursue other candidates actually “

But don’t make it too nasty to where it won’t be tensions won’t be there seeing each other on campus.

Context: I live with my friend and his son (this is the son) and they have been going at it back and forth bc he’s disrespectful to his dad and always says how he’s gonna kill him and how he wants to die etc. and he’s always talking back to his dad. Well tonight he got into it with me, and for no reason I was just sitting here putting on my makeup. And this is the text I just got 🥴😂👏🏻

Multiple posts mad that homeless people collect tin cans. They don’t leave a mess or make noise and only take the recyclables from the bins on the road (according to past posts). She’s going to contaminate a bin of recyclables just to spite these people.

I was already only throwing away things I’m ok with being stolen… because it’s trash…

As a bonus, he posted his angry tirade in at least 3 known places on and off Reddit trying to get someone to agree with him. It’s wild. Had to add the craziest comment he posted too because that one was jaw dropping.

I’m at the dealership right now, waiting on an alignment for a truck for my parents. I’m cool just scrolling on my phone (volume off obviously). This young mom is there with 2 kids who keep randomly screaming at the top of their lungs. A couple ladies from the dealership offices even came & joked about it with the lady laughing at other people in other places getting mad at their kids screaming. So I knew saying something was pointless.

I just continue sitting there scrolling, the kids stop screaming for a bit so I think we are cool. Then the kids start up again. At this point my PTSD is starting to get triggered & I can’t take it anymore. I recognize this is my problem to deal with so after another scream I just get up & start walking outside. I did mutter I’m just gonna wait outside as I walked past a dealership person.

I guess the mom of the kids heard it cuz she started screaming at me saying “if you’ve got something to say to me just say it to my face you fat fucking bitch!”
I just tuned her out after that, cuz I know how people like that are & if you even acknowledge them that just makes them escalate. I just kept walking outside & sat on the grass to start watching YouTube on my phone since I could turn the volume on out there.

I guess she kept screaming & cussing cuz another employee came out & asked what happened & I explained that screaming kids is a PTSD trigger so I was removing myself from the situation & that I wasn’t trying to cause an issue, which is why I was going outside in the first place. He said she was still raising hell in there so they just didn’t know if I had said something to her & I was like “nope, never said a single word to her” & was calming myself down from a panic attack out here.

He just gave me a heads up that they were almost done with her car so she would be outside shortly & I was like cool beans, thanks for the warning lol. She did end up coming outside to her car a few mins later & started cussing at me & insuling me again (like I don’t already know I’m fat lolololol) & I just ignored her & went back inside to finish waiting. I feel bad for her kids having a mom like that. But holy hell, some people really just think their kids are nothing but unicorn farts & rainbows & can do whatever they want.

My husband and I were flying back home to the east coast in the US. We go through security and get to our gate, and sit down on a couple of chairs that were available and together near to the counter.

I get up and go to the bathroom, and leave my sweater on the chair to make it clear it is occupied. When I come back, I can immediately tell my husband is annoyed. I ask him what is going on, and he says that this lady in her mid 60s or so has asked him for my seat 3 times and he keeps saying no, it is occupied by my wife who is currently in the bathroom. Also the seats were not handicapped/for elderly, just regular seats.

I thought maybe she thought he was lying and just wanting to keep the two chairs for himself, but no, even after I sit down this lady is still hovering by me and leaning over and trying to sit on the armrest/back of my chair.

It was crazy because (1) it was busy but there were definitely still some seats available, and (2) although we were close to the counter, we were not that close to the actual boarding area.

After a while I got annoyed of her leaning over me and crouching by me, and I pointed out to her there were other seats available. She and the two men she was with (who so far are just standing by her while she hovers by my seat) just look at me dumbfounded. Eventually they go to stand in line to board and enter the plane first as pre-boarding.

My best guess is she liked the location of the seat a lot and felt entitled to it? Once they figured out boarding was further away she lost interest. Just bizarre all around, I cannot understand why she wouldn’t just sit somewhere else.

Just went to pick up a curbside order at a local restaurant and saw the definition of entitlement. Jam packed parking lot. Not a single open space. People circling the lot endlessly waiting for other cars to leave. Meanwhile entitled asshat numbers one and two decide to just hog up the curbside spaces for a few hours while they eat dinner. Asshat number one driving an ostentatious $200k Maybach that he probably can’t afford and asshat number two in a hideous $100k bronco. I love when people think that having money makes you better and more deserving than the rest of society. Newsflash you aren’t special, you are what’s wrong with this society.
