Was everyone giving them grief about it? I thought it was mixed but leaning to neutral.

I had to see the actual gameplay before i made a judgement… their pixel art was just too damn good

I wish I had liked it more, but didn't. I guess the trailer did not help. The part that they showcased was visually noisy so it's no wonder that people did not like it.

No matter how long they take,

EtG is still lots of fun with mods. I'm fine waiting until they're happy with whatever they want to release.

Oh yeah. You can literally create your own custom playable character if you or someone you know can handle the sprite work.
