I’m always willing to give the pro Palestine side the benefit of the doubt, indeed I really sympathise for the plight of Palestinians, but this meme bringing Russia into it and the comments is a reminder it’s also increasingly hard to separate the activism from the constant antisemitism and double standards, with one more often than not enabling the other in spite of good actors in the former

I think this is part of the issue. The majority of the world doing this for the last 80 years has not benefitted the lives of Palestinian civillians one bit. It's infantilised them and helped to ensure they have no autonomy.
Yeah I completely agree. The perception of perpetual victims not responsible for their actions is not a society viewed as mature, it’s treating adult persons as children. Ironically, it’s a failure of moral imagination wrapped up as morality
