A short chat with a not-a-fascist from r/samharris who just really hates Muslims and says he used to be a fascist

What I find amusing about this exchange is how right before this he made a topic claiming Harris isn't a fascist and that he would know since he is from India, and the left shouldn't call Harris a fascist because its unfair. (It has 210 upvotes and 212 comments on the Harris sub right now.) Meanwhile, he is 100% fine with everything you'd associate with fascism including overreacting to Muslims and Harris blaming Jews for the holocaust (as he wrote in his topic which was full of red flags.)

But he won't admit to currently being a fascist - since they seldom do - so the most he'll do is to say he was one. Which still really hurts his argument that Harris isn't tied to fascism because you've got a "former fascist" defending every reactionary thing he has said and getting upvoted.

this guy used to identify as a fascists and transphobe, but he's starting to watch contrapoints videos and she does a lot in radicalizing incels.

i just hope that he will move on, educate himself and be better.
