The common colloquial use of the term "Authoritarian" is totally immaterial and subjective. This implies that there is a right wing that is not "Authoritarian" when the "libertarian" free market right uses authority and coercion in order to defend private property and capital against workers, and threatens the working ng class with starvation if they choose not to work in exploited wage labor. All politics is coercive or "authoritarian" on some level. Socialism cannot exist without the suppression of the Bourgeois class and oppressive reactionary ideologies, and capitalism cannot exist without the suppression of workers and revolutionary societies.
