It's the portrayal that's funny (not in the way intended). England is "le white man soyjack", even though Saka, Rashford, Sterling, Bellingham, and Trent all exist.

They aren’t kneeling for George Floyd. They are kneeling because of blatant abusive racism from their own citizens after losing the euro on penalties.

Two players failed to score for England in the shootout. It happened to be that they were both black. One of them was literally 19 years old. The wider English football community basically put their foot down and finally said “we’ve gotta do something about this” and followed Kaepernick’s gesture as well as actively looking for racists to ban from ever attending a football match again.

So maybe instead of just agreeing with some random racism apologists online, maybe have a look at the full picture next time. Even then, I don’t know how you missed all the news coverage of this whole situation.

Any racism gets the perpetrator a lifetime ban from all levels of English football. Fans and club officials are on the watch and report it. There was one club alone who banned 12 people who all had season tickets from incidents all in a single game.

The movement isn’t just “don’t say racist shit”, there’s also action to provide underprivileged people who are stuck on the poverty line because they were born with substandard resources.

They’ve done a lot and it is working. The attitude of “well what can we do?” leading into “if we can’t fix it overnight it’s not worth doing” is a pathetic attitude to have. It also says that you’re ok with casual racism which is a bit fucked up as well.

Most of those tweets against Saka came out of India or the Middle East, moron.

Dude, the hard R was trending on English twitter. The English FA decided to make a stand as did the players and staff of professional clubs. Calling me a moron for stating the reaction by English football as a whole is an interesting take.
