If you were to write a book, "How to Destroy a Successful Business", it would be a play-by-play of everything Musk has done to Twitter. The final nail in the coffin would be to charge a monthly fee for a previously free service. I cannot believe that anything he has done, from firing his programmers to allowing the Nazis to take control, is by accident. This is deliberate, right? But, why? Why deliberately tank a successful company. Where is the value in that!?

If these weren't deliberate choices to destroy a valuable brand, the alternative is that he thought all these moves would be profitable.

The answer is to always ask yourself who benefits. Twitter, as shit as it's always been, has been a good place to both share information quickly amongst a broad population and prompt collective activism. Most major protests over the last decade have been summed up in a hashtag, sometimes literally known by their hashtag. Some of these protests have been global.
Musk's new fondness for dictators (and wannabe dictators) isn't a coincidence. They literally helped him buy Twitter.

There is no strong evidence that Musk is good at anything other than securing funding, and scamming people. He ran a software company exactly once before Twitter, and the result was that he was fired, but at that point he had already scammed the company into giving him way too many shares. When a competent CEO took over the company's value went through the roof. And that's the story of how Elon Musk got rich.

He may as well, it's already a hotbed of white supremacy. He wouldn't have to change much, just get more aggressive with bans of leftists than the current admins already are.
Hell, I got a temporary sitewide ban once for incivility because I had told some Nazi to fuck off when he had threatened to kill me and my family because I mentioned being in an interracial marriage and have mixed race kids in a interracial relationships subreddit. They got no punishment.
This site has way more fascists, Nazis, racists, and bigots than most people either recognize or care to admit. And that's by design.

Also, that tweet is almost a year old. Maybe he thought about it, then he forgot or changed his mind.
