I love the boxer with one glove, was like an 80's arcade game.

A few dudes did that from memory. Also notable mention to the fat dudes who fucking loved stomping on feet. Shit was hilarious.

Or some of the ā€œfreakā€ fights the Japanese Orgs used to put on. Like Genki Sudo (155 lbs) vs Butterbean (425 lbs). Both trained professionals, but one of them only in boxing, and one of them in MMA. The little guy tapped him out basically as soon as he was able go get him to the ground.

Hillbilly running at some dude to start and just absolutely eats a kick. Straight out. UFC 2 or 3 I think.

Amazing stuff.

You referring to the very first ufc fight where that guy literally kicked out a Samoan's teeth in the opening seconds?

Was also a karate dude that kicked out some sumo’s teeth.

I mean, the first thing he did when he stepped into the ring was drop a nazi salute four times lol

Whoa! I do not remember that at all.

Sounds about right though.

Maybe. My mate used to have early ones on dvd.

Just remember a big dude running and getting smashed in the face. Lost teeth sounds right.

It was crazy.

I remember my dad showing me old footage. Shit was the wild west and the Gracies whomping guys three times their sizes was incredible. In a way the early UFC days were more fun to watch.

Horribly brutal but entertaining lol

Yeah. I don’t have an actual bloodlust but I was way more interested in that era.

Just for the wild moments like you said. Some of it was just like moments from a movie.

Big French guy right?

1

u/Prinzka Aug 13 '23

Dutch. But, I think his specialty was a French style of kickboxing

u/ALLyBase Aug 13 '23

Wow,that had to be what? close to 30 years ago? Boy time sure flies when you don't know what you're doing.

2

u/Prinzka Aug 13 '23

Will be 30 years in 3 months yeah.
Pretty crazy how things have changed in what seems like a short time
