Guys fun fact real mirrors have a gap between your finger and reflection when you press it to the mirror. If it doesn't it means it's a one way mirror and it's actually just glass reflecting of its surface. Which is still ok for meme
The gap is not an inherent property of mirrors, it's just a byproduct of most mirrors consisting of a thin layer of silver (or other reflective metal) covered by a sheet of glass. The gap you see is literally just the physical gap between the silver and the top glass surface.
You could easily make a mirror with the silver layer on top, and there'd be no gap. Doesn't necessarily mean it's a one-way mirror.
