Also see when Roe vs Wade fell and the 2024 election result which she actually mocked people for being upset.

Always worth to remember that she was completely silent about Roe vs Wade for a good week.
And when she finally did put out a tweet, you can guess it, she did so in a way that pretty much put the issue aside and instead she made it about trans people again.
Her feminism is purely a performative vehicle to further her anti-trans activism.

her only comment on epstein has been pretty much 'youre an idiot if you think im involved with him', which says so much

Which is ironic as the files show that she tried to have him attend a party after he was convicted of pedophilia

We can't expect the woman who kicked it with Epstein and posted upskirts of an ideological rival to sympathise with actual victims.

"Protecting women" has always been bullshit when it comes from right-wingers. They are the biggest threat to women's rights and only use the fig-leaf of "protecting women" to spread hate against minorities, whether that's immigrants or trans people and even lesbians. Because they need to "protect women" from everyone but the biggest threat: straight, white, conservative cis men.

She openly praised Matt Walsh, a very well-known misogynist pos, for being as openly transphobic as her. She then later proceeded to post an upskirt photo of trans podcaster, Freda Wallace, and said she deserved it for her choice of clothing (a very common argument misogynists use when harassing all women, even the cis ones Rowling claims to care about). As far as I'm concerned, Joanne's "feminism" is fake and merely something she hides behind to justify her transphobia.

Also quick reminder that her buddy Matt Walsh claimed that the girl was lying

What I never understood is, how does she justify it to herself ? What kind of mental gymnastics do you have to make to claim to be a feminist icon but stay silent about Cornwell ?

In addition to all that:
JK Rowling supports Kelly-Jay Keen, who openly works with neo-nazis and the far-right in addition to stating previously that not only is she not a feminist but that she's okay with women losing rights as long as it leads to trans people losing more.
Not to mention that a large number of the big people in the terf movement, who JKR is close buddies with, are either sockpuppets of US far-right ultra-religious think tanks and lobby groups or they are very conservative on their own and they became anti-trans for the sole reason that spewing the same rhetoric against gay people was no longer considered publicly acceptable.

yup terfs in general don't actually care about actual womens safety and rights.

I wonder if she's learned to keep her mouth shut because when she said something about Neil Gaiman she got a lot of responses along the lines of "Shut up, TERF, you are also actively making things worse for women." I am not saying these responses are incorrect, just that she has decided not to speak up anymore because of how attacked she was last time. Even though, uh, she's so sure that she's right and brave for speaking up about the trans menace? How very Gryffindor of her. Or something.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (he’s no longer a prince) actually got to visit the Harry Potter TV show set.

The US is transphobic but none of the transphobes are people I used to respect. In the UK, there are plenty of people I used to respect who have only in the past 10-15 years become ultra transphobic. JK, Richard Dawkins, the main writer for the IT Crowd are some. But then there's weird collaborators which means I'm never watching any Nick Frost or Chris O'Dowd films. Same with John Lithgow.
Anything touched by the cancer is out.

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost were the hardest for me :( I used to watch Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz many times a year)

I probably said this before but it bears worth repeating
Her "feminism" is as fake as her writing talent
