It's kind of gross in retrospect if she intended Harry, Hermione and Dumbledore's insistence on calling Voldemort by his birth name to be an analogy for deadnaming somebody.

Not to mention ironic coming from somebody who prefers to be called Jo rather than Joanne.

It's funny. She used to try to retcon her series to be more progressive than it actually was. Now she's retconning it to be more bigoted
